Discover and understand the flooding phenomena

For educational events such as the festival of science, the GEOEND laboratory at Gustave Eiffel University is setting up an educational model to raise public awareness of the risks associated with flooding and flash floods. This model, built in part with the help of the public, provides a concrete representation of what would happen in the event of a dike breach.

As well as serving an educational purpose, the educational model can be used to work on warning systems to better prevent such phenomena.
