Eleni Kogkitsidou, researcher in automatic language processing

Eleni Kogkitsidou is currently a project manager at INA (French National Audiovisual Institute), having completed her post-doc at Université Gustave Eiffel. With a passion for languages and IT, her studies led her to an undergraduate degree in French Languages and Literature in Greece and then to a PhD at Grenoble Alpes University, during which she specialised in automatic text processing.

She has contributed to the Cité des Dames project, which aims to promote the writings of women. Her work focuses on the automatic extraction of geographic information (towns, villages, settlements, etc.) mentioned in the works of such women as Marguerite de Navarre.
