Angela Ruggiero is a PhD student jointly supervised by Lab'URBA at Gustave Eiffel University and the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Mons.

A studious but very talkative schoolgirl, she went on to study architecture at the University of Naples in Italy. Interested in climate issues and how to design more sustainable cities, Angela turned to a Master's degree in Sustainable Urban Development at a Urban Engineering Department in Paris, which led her to research in urban planning and development.

Her mission? To help cities act more sustainably in various areas such as mobility and construction by trying to understand how technical standards are established.

Her daily routine? Conducting interviews with city officials and technicians and participating in working groups that draft these technical standards, both in France and internationally.
