Elodie Saraiva is a doctoral student at the Comparative Analysis of Powers Laboratory at Gustave Eiffel University. In middle school, Elodie was quite studious and didn't really have an affinity for sports! However, she decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in Technical Sciences of Physical and Sports Activities (STAPS) with the goal of becoming a physical therapist. When she was not accepted into physical therapy school, she decided to pursue a career in research after spending time with faculty members.

Her goal? To collect testimonials from former elite athletes in order to analyze their professional careers and see if there are any differences based on gender, particularly after their athletic careers.
